Saw them last night at the House of Blues in Boston. Great f'n show, I know on this site the Crowes are a hit or miss and that is cool but for fans of them out there, check them out. Jackie Greene was AMAZING on guitar, he stole the show with his playing. I was truly blown away. It was just the 6 of them, no backup singers. They harmonized well and the setlist blew the roof off, much from money maker, southern harmony. They did a great cover of Hush out of their cover of hard to handle and then back into hard to handle. They ended with Fleetwood Mac's Oh Well. Just a great rock and roll show last night. In fact my wife just got our tickets for the Crowes/Tedeschi Trucks band show on July 30 in boston! Awesome night, even though next door the Sox lost to the O's and the B's lost but I got 1 out of 3!!!!!!!!

My brother went to this show too, and I have not talked to him yet about it. Sounds awesome. I bet he had a great show as well from your description. He's definately a fan.

I think Jackie Greene is a hell of a musician and I've always enjoyed seeing him play with anyone. Thanks for giving your take on it.

Looking forward to see him in a couple of weeks with the usual assortment of oddballs at the next hipnic...

He just shredded it, the show started off well with Jealous, Thick n Thin, Good Morning Captain and then it went to Wiser Time and Jackie took off. I have seen him a few time open for Gov't Mule, enjoyed his work in Phil and Friends and Trigger Hippy but he was on a different planet last night. Him and Rich seemed to be having a great time dueling last night, big smiles all over the place. Adam's keyboard playing has amazed me since CRB and Chris's voice last night was phenomenal. They re-worked some tunes, added some new life to them. I really like how they start out Jealous now, not a huge change but nice. The harmonizing was pretty cool, every time I saw the Crowes previously the back-up singers were always with them so last night was a treat! I have always enjoyed the House of Blues in Boston to see a band!
